🧪 Why Our Red Wiggler Mix Works Better
Unlike many worm suppliers, we don’t separate worms from their bedding. Our living worm ecosystem includes:
- Baby, juvenile, and adult red wigglers
- Cocoons that will hatch over time
- A mix of beneficial bacteria, fungi, and protozoa
This makes the worms healthier, helps them settle in faster, and kick-starts the composting process with less stress and better results.
💅 How to Use Your Red Wiggler Worm Mix
- Prepare your worm bin with at least 3 inches of damp bedding (shredded cardboard or coconut coir).
- Add the worm mix gently on top of the bedding and let the worms settle.
- Start feeding immediately with 1–2 cups of food scraps per week.
- Expect noticeable composting activity in 3-4 months with one worm mix and 1-2 months with two mixes
- Want faster results or have a bigger bin? Order two or more mixes.

We are a month in to our vermicomposting adventure and we are in love with our wormies! My toddler loves collecting scraps and deciding what the worms will be fed that week. It’s her job to feed the worms and she looks forward to it every week. She loves them so much I had to stop her putting toys in there for the worms to play with 😆. Akil was quick to answer questions/concerns and provided all the information I needed to confidently start our worm composter. It looks beautiful on our countertop and is very low maintenance - barely takes any time every week to maintain and we haven’t noticed any smell or flies (and our cats have shown zero interest). I look forward to harvesting some nutritious worm castings for our plants and learning more about worms along the way! I recommend them to any playgroup, classroom, family or individual!
The product arrived alive. I put the brick of worms in the compost on top of cardboard and then added vegetable waste. I cracked the brick in two and saw live worms. After covering them with a foot of waste I let them be. I haven’t seen a worm since. They may be there I just haven’t seen them.
great use for kitchen scraps and old papers!
Bought the worm studio for my grandson. We have been enjoying our project and the worms are doing great!
My worms arrived healthy and happy!! They are thriving! Am looking forward to getting more soon!!
