My family absolutely loves our new worm studio. We have had time with it (4+ months now) to fully learn about it and share our honest thoughts.
Getting the worms set up was easy and the hardest part is to NOT check in on them all the time, and to let them do their thing :). The parenting guide is super helpful to have, and we have made sure to follow the instructions. Wow, we can sure see the difference in a few months - to begin with the ecosystem was getting established and couldn't go through scraps very quickly. Now the scraps are disappearing much quicker, and we know it'll improve even more!! The studio does not have any unwanted smells - in fact it smells good because of the cedar.
Collecting scraps has also made us more of the waste that we produce and we are more mindful to eat up all of the food that we have bought (or grown!). I wish we had started composting sooner but we're sure enjoying the experience now and are proud to show friends/family our new little pets.

I’m enjoying doing my small part helping our environment to thrive! I don’t have enough castings yet to feed my plants since it’s only been about a month, but I’m sure by the end of the summer growing season I’ll have enough for some cold weather crops. Akil has been amazing to deal with. He has been quick to respond to my many messages, as well as alleviating my numerous concerns in a positive and cheerful manner. My little guys were full of life when I received them and seem to have happily settled into their new home. I’m very happy with my experience with Box of Life, and encourage anyone contemplating investing in a home worm farm to check out this company! It’s awesome!

Fits in an apartment very well and looks so stylish! We love that we have an option to compost in a buikding where there is no compsot system.

I’ve been curious about vermicomposting for a while and through the information I’ve found online, The Box of Life seems to be about the best setup there could be. It’s easy to control the moisture level, and already I’ve seen a few baby worms! Akil gives good advice and is ready to answer any questions that may come up - the parenting guide is also very helpful to know how often and how much to feed the worms. All in all I’m completely satisfied with both the product and the Kickstarter experience!

Beautifully constructed and a great concept!

We jumped on the kick starter at the reccomendation of our friend Prema. We have worms and they are in a tote bin and concrete mixing containers this new countertop worm studio held all our worms it keeps them at a healthy temperature and prevents bedding from drying out. They are much happier in their new home and it condensed the space we were using by so much! I can not reccomend the box of life worms studio enough. our non profit farm sanctuary is very happy we made this investment and encourage anyone wanting to be more eco-friendly, start a worm farm, or simply have some super neat pets to invest in a box of life!

Thank you for helping me restart my worm studio. The new "tenants" moved in quickly and started making it their home right away.

The box is handsomely crafted and purpose-built; a far cry from the messy plastic bin situation I have tried in the past. The three tiers means the worms are in constant production and I never have to handle them. I look forward to using it at our cabin where composting is not an option due to animal activity and garbage removal is problematic. And I have a small garden to reap the rewards!

My shipment of worms arrived very quickly and you could see them moving around as soon as the box was opened. They are now living in my compost!

This is my second worm bin, I bought the original bins when they first released for sale in the US several years ago. I'm very excited for the new shallow trays and the sturdier bottom pan. Love my wormies!

I love my Box of Life, i for my wormies last week, and already blew through their first meal of shredded watermelon rind. Just gave them some more this morning with some additional bedding.

This worm studio smells fantastic! I am just a few weeks in, but my little worms are thriving! Its such a great way to compost. All instructions are given, and i messaged the owner and got a quick response. This company provides jobs for some who otherwise would have difficulty finding employment.

Loving my indoor compost and the red wigglers it came with (paid addon). Will be adding the second level next week and can't wait to harvest the first batch of worm castings in a few weeks.
