Earth Day at Impact Hub Ottawa

Impact Hub is a coworking space in downtown Ottawa that has been building an important community of organizations working on UN Sustainable Development Goals. We have been helping them compost with a worm bin to turn coffee grinds, fruit peels, paper napkins into worm castings that are used in office plants and gifted to hub members.

The Earth Day workshops held at Impact Hub are part of an ongoing partnership, and they are typically focused on educating people about vermicomposting, waste, and healthy soils. This aligns with The Box of Life's efforts to raise awareness about composting and get tenants to rethink their relationship with food waste.
